so i had a real cool conversation with jenmac of all people... not that one couldn't have a good conversation with her, but i just don't (personally) get to talk with her much is all. regardless, it was nice because we ran into one another and we started joking about how God must hide his face when He sees us do some of the things we do down here. like, if God could be embarrassed, surely He would be of me, etc... but that is the great part - no matter how many dumb things we do, or how many useless, unglorifying to God things we do (such as watch movies like 40 days and 40 nights or go to a club), He still loves us because He is friggin awesome... so just mull on that for awile...

i told a guy at work that i wanted to go to seminary after college sometime, and he very sarcastically said "why? so you can go around and tell people to love God?" at the moment i was too confused to answer, but i wish i would have told him that the real reason is so i am better equipped to tell people how much God loves them...

as always, keepin it real... REAL real...
