... ok, so I know the Bro'hood blog isn't a forum for parking complaints... but... OMG!!!! I hate parking on campus!! >:0 No, wait, let me rephrase that. I hate driving ALL OVER (and I do mean ALL OVER) campus desperately seeking a place to park my autobus... having the little man in the orange vest tell me that I can "go park @ Park'N Ride" (when my class ends @ 6:15 and the Park'N Ride lot closes @ 5:30!!!), driving-driving, braking for dumb pedetrians as the watch on my left wrist ticks away the minutes until my class starts (which I was late for apropos)... and FINALLY parking, oh NO, not on campus, but a block or so down Walker on some side street w/ 2 hour parking (this was 11:00am, my classes end @ 6:15pm. You do the math.) Oi vey.
*deep breath*
Many thanks to the Powers-That-Be... my car was still where I left her when I came back this afternoon. I now have a greater empathy for those upperclassmen and commuters I knew b/f I was one myself... Peace be w/ you.
And on that final ranting note...
