dang.
i missed everything.
speaking of missing everything, where are my people? Lindsey, Christie Ray, I'm talking to you guys! You've been mad elusive or you just haven't been, and I'm clueless.
The storm of the century almost killed me today...I drove home mad tired too. dang Brooks, Die Trying just came on my winamp player...I forgot I downloaded their song cause you told me to. don't make music recommendations to me anymore :) (the new Metallica album is better than the last, but, i'll be Typical Metalhead and say that their old stuff was REALLY a lot better).

anyway. the storm was INSANE. anyone that was driving in that mess knows it, but try driving down an interstate with a full tank, with a sloppy 18 wheeler behind you, knowing your car model and year is one of the few known to blow up in rear collisions, because the gas tank happens to be geniusly placed partly behind the rear axle. thanks Jenny for supplying that information...my car ride home would have been fearless except for that one bane. and well...the bane of tons of water pouring over my car and under my hydroplaning tires.

i'm working backwards in my day, because before the storm i hung out with Alena. we were rambling around Winston Salem...we did obviously boring things like walking around Walmart, and more entertaining things like walking around a bookstore, but we got to talk a good long time, so a great time was had by the both of us. we made the mistake/wise decision of seeing American Wedding...this after my reluctancy to see Freddie vs. Jason...(haven't built up the excitement or preparation quite yet for it). American Wedding was as predictably entertaining as you could imagine from the previews...nothing living up to the previous two. i'd say wait to see it on video, i saw the previous two post-video release. we did see a pretty good preview or two though...one with Jack Black coming along called The School of Rock. i know Mikey will love it...I know Jenny will LOVE it. the other preview that i thought was pretty hot was this one for a movie with The Rock and Christopher Walken and the American Pie guy Stiffler in it, which looks terrible but great.
anyway...point being that time with Alena was good, so i feel like my drive to Winston Salem was worth the quality company.

previously, before my WS trip,

there were lots of people at church today...fall is kicking off well. Josh Serano is quickly becoming my Darby Landy of Greensboro...or maybe my Joe Teague, but i can't be certain. the sermon was amazing today, because Allen is the man with the gift.
shoutouts...thanks Beth and Jackie and Christa, even though you girls don't read this page, i always love talking to you guys, thanks for the few minutes we had at lunch...you made me feel special when i told you about my day's plans :) i met Nate...again...the black Nate...who also goes by Nathan interchangeably like i do...who is infinitely smarter than me cause he's going to grad school, not the army...he was at the ice cream party the other day. hmm...i'm signing off...i'm gonna send Allen an e-mail concerning membership...it's been almost 4 months of regular attendance, i think now's the time to call it out...then i can sleep soundly having a completed day.
