speaking of video games...
my co-workers aren't quite as into battlefield as i am. not because they don't like it, but because they have been playing halo for so long. you know, halo, the poor man's first person shooter game. well, i go over to dave's on occasion to partake in some halo action but never really get into it, but for the sake of building bonds with my co-workers outside staples land, i do this. and heck, they are cool guys... well, halo for PC has been out for awhile, but i know i didn't need YET ANOTHER distraction, especially from computer land - so i did not spend the $50 on it. as of late the trend has been to play halo and the guys have been pestering me to get it and finally yesterday (wed) i told them that if i could randomly get the money to buy it, i would...
fast forward to lunch at blimpie where joe (the owner) asks if i know anyone who will make a delivery for him later in the day, and he'd pay em' $20. so i was like, sure thing new boss. so i took some sandhwiches out to this middle school in north boro' and then the lady added a $10 tip into the cost. so i made $30 for an hour of work. then when i get back, mark is still hounding me about buying halo and says best buy has it for $39.99. well... if that is not a sign from God Himself, then i don't know what is... so, i now own a game that i don't really like a ton, but ya know... i think it will help me spend more time, however unquality, with the guys from work. justification...? i think so...
as always, keepin it real... REAL real...
