Well, I haven't posted in a few days. Happy Thanksgiving ya'll.
Here are a few highlights of my week from your friend, Nate Rose...the Legendary.

Monday Zoe and I went to see extreme metal at Ziggy's-finally caught a live performance by my second favorite Swedish metal band, Soilwork (my definite favorite metal band, In Flames, I have already seen twice). That was definitely crucial, and we caught most of Soilwork's antics on video camera-mad props to Zoe for being "that" girl with the camera for one night.
Tuesday folks came over to my house, as pointed out in Mikey's last post, for the watching of X-Men 2. Nothing much to be said, except I fully agree with Mikey that Wolverine should have made more jokes in this movie, wheelchair-related or otherwise. And Jon should have made more jokes about how white I am.

Last night was rad. A total fox and legend in her own right schooled me for at least a solid hour in Tetris and Dr. Mario, both games which I thought I was pretty good at beforehand. Brooke Morton has obviously shown me who the real Nintendo puzzle game master is. But I had fun getting my tail rocked...hardly a reason to get upset in that situation :)
But I must bring out my dormant competitive nature if I ever want to stand a chance at giving Brooke a fair fight. So it shall be someday.
After a fierce "whuppin'" I made my way to the Fissel Manor to partake in the ancient ritual known as "Watching the State". Our inductory last night was Julie, who not only was introduced to The State, but also Wet Hot American Summer, in the same evening. She survived well. I did not, for I was mad tired after my whole evening, and had to wake up early the next day...Thursday...

Today was Thursday. It was also Thanksgiving.
I spent this Thanksgiving with my stepdad's quirky family, it was in some ways decently amusing. They remind me of some kind of traveling group of circus performers, except they don't do any tricks, they just...could be in a circus, in a parallel dimension.
So yes, my lack of sleep and big meal meant a long nap today. And then I woke up and we were back in Greensboro. And now I'm here, after a round or two of Warcraft III and a post-Thanksgiving meal snack or two, I'm ready to hit the sack.

So, in conclusion, lessons learned this week:
Metal still rocks.
Friends still rock.
Family still rocks.

I'm out.
