...speaking of books... In my quest to decipher Brooks' unhealthy obession w/ Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, I borrowed it from Walter Clinton Jackson, dove in, and finished reading it in under two days. whew. I will admit that it is quite a good read, and I would suggest that anyone who, like myself, has not read it since, oh, 3rd grade, to check it out (pun intended.) A timeless classic of boy and girl's struggle to understand the hypocracy of man. ... though, I still have not found the key to Brooks' obsession, seeing as how he's never actually READ the book. Perhaps the answer lies w/ Gregory Peck. Next step: the video library of the TLC.
