ah, the rockbridge post...

stuff that indeed "ROCKed" at Rockbridge...
- the fact that the guitar player kinda looked like john mayer (in a make fun of john mayer kinda way)
- john mayer lead a new praise song that no one had heard before that sounded a lot like "Birmingham" by nate edge, or a cheap knock off
- the fact that we were really creeped out the activity guy was ryan kee's clone
- the worship leader who looked and sounded like dave chappelle
- the danny wulff clone... cept more insecure
- the fact that i reminded this one girl of a stalker/crazy guy she knows from greensboro named micah; but not cause i was stalking her
- i was able to convince two girls that i had never heard of the mikey of life cereal fame
- the fact that everyone looked like someone, or reminded somebody of something

on a more serious note... slightly... ok, not really...
- i had THE BEST small group EVER! kristie, chris, adam, rachel, brooke, lindsay, megan, carolyn, and jennifer rokked my face off!!!
- prayer and getting into God's word are the ways that allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life :-)
- instead of being like the good cabin of guys who bonded by praying when they woke up and before they went to bed, we bonded by talking about "da butt"
- ryan from UNCW thought we were cool even though we were always talking about "da butt"
- special guest appearance by All FoR Love!!!
- listening to brooks say basically anything we told him to
- listening to brooks stories of these two girls macking on him
- danny and i trying to figure out who number two worked for more
- finding matt, nate, and brooks REALLY working on their "retreat of silence"
- i read the book of Daniel... good book
- chapter time encouragement: i am so pumped for next year!
- the sky's reflection on the lake at night
- the fact that i got to meet new and interesting people and build relationships and love and pray for them :-)
- and uh... since connie is like the only one who reads this... i think it was most awesome cause she went! hehe...

that's about it... there was WAY more... but i can only say "da butt" so many times in one post. find me, ask me, love me... i will be more than happy to tell you how it all went down. it was truly an eye opener for a person who thought his eyes were fairly wide to begin with. God is so awesome, thank Him :-)
